This morning, I was invited to sit in with The 71s as they lead worship at CrossPoint Church in Katy. Cross Point is a very modern and super nice church. With 2 services, the total people in attendance easily topped 1500. I knew it would be an intersting morning when I received the set list. Its included “last Christmas” by Wham and “Santa Clause is coming to town” the Sprinsteen version. Any church that oks that set list is gonna be a good time.

I was happy to hear that they had a drumset waiting for me.. Though being there at 7 am was a bit tough. That meant waking up at 5 to make the drive clear across Houston. The staff there was very professional and welcoming.

All in all it was a great morning in a new church. I look forward to being back on stage at Woodlands Point Sunday!
